“We have many guests that want to experience all that they can while visiting Cody. We heartily recommend that they go to the Cody Cattle Company. The people that attend to the customers are first rate, eager to please and mighty helpful. The endless chuckwagon fare is tasty and filling and if you really want to go over the top add a steak for only a small up charge. There is beer and wine and endless lemonade, tea, water and coffee.

The entertainment is spectacular. You just do not expect the fine quality of talent that you receive. All of our guests come back raving about the entire experience. You can even do the ‘triple play’- dinner, the early show music entertainment and still have time to catch the nightly summer rodeo all in one package deal. We visit often and have always had a great time. The folks at the Cody Cattle Company have a winning combination.”

“My Favorite Dinner Place in Cody”

Over the past four years, we have been sending our Motorcoach Groups to the Cody Cattle Company, because we consider it one of the finest Chuckwagon Dinner Shows in the West. The food is definitely superior compared to similar operations and the service has always been top notch. We especially like the show, which is not too long and focuses on lively western music, not campy comedy. We have brought international and domestic groups there and everyone has loved it. Best of all, it’s a great value…the prices fit our group tour budget perfectly. I consider them the best Bang for the Buck in Cody! I highly recommend the Cody Cattle Company to any tour operator sending bus groups to Cody. It’s my favorite dinner place in Cody and it should be yours too.

“It was basic food but good. The musicians were really good. Followed up this with the rodeo. What a great taste of the West.”

“Great food and a lot of fun!”

“After reading the overwhelmingly positive reviews (and even the few naysayer’s reviews), we decided to try it out. Well, the naysayers are WRONG! The food was excellent. Remember, this is a chuckwagon buffet, not a 5 course dinner at the Ritz-Carlton! It was really good. It has chicken (grilled thighs), delicious brisket (save your money, don’t get the steak for an extra $6, as the brisket will satisfy your beef hankering!), campfire style beans, baked potatoes (try the spud with the beans on it, add a little Tabasco which is on the table), Cole slaw, Caesar salad, corn bread, applesauce, brownies and all you can drink lemonade and coffee. A limited selection of beer (Coors, Coors Lite, Bud, Bud Lite and Bud Lime) and wine (Sutter Home Merlot, White Zin and Chardonnay) is also available. $3 for beer, $4 for the wine.

The food is served buffet style in a room right off the main dining room, which is a big hall with picnic table seating. Sit close to the stage if you can. The employees were mingling about and were very sociable, adding to the positive experience. The show started about 5 minutes early, so be prepared for that if you are headed over to it. The trio was a father/son combo with one other guy. Man, could they play! Amazing guitar work (both acoustic and electric), with some mandolin and steel guitar thrown in. Show lasted about an hour. They played some classic CW tunes, including everyone’s favorite “Ghost Riders”. There were several jam sessions where they highlighting their playing skills. Crowd interaction was great! The hour went way too quick!”

“Good food, great service and fantastic cowboy music”

“My family and I went for the trifecta ticket at the Cody Cattle company. The food was good and plentiful (the baked beans were a favorite for myself and my sons)! The music “Everywhere West” was very entertaining and the group is very talented! After dinner and music we attended the Cody rodeo (a first live rodeo for us) and had a wonderful time. We would recommend the Cody Cattle Company to everyone visiting Cody. The staff at the Cody Cattle Company are very friendly and try to ensure that you are having a great time…keep up the great work!”

“Really delicious!”

“We’re Cody locals, not tourists and just had the all you can eat chuckwagon dinner without the show. The buffet menu is simple but the food was fantastic…best beef brisket in town and you can’t beat the serving sizes. 🙂 Highly recommend it.”
